I can't speak for Daisuke but from what I know about him, I'm pretty sure that he doesn't know. To be honest, he's kind of oblivious to these sorts of things so you have to be really blunt and obvious about it for him to get it. I think it'd take something like a confession before he even realizes that anyone even likes him so I think you're safe!
Though you should really tell him about your feelings one day.

oh i'm really really relieved if that's the case! i thought my heart would beat right out of my chest
maybe someday but right now i think it's enough to be his friend and to be by his side i don't want to make him feel guilty for not being able to return my feelings either but i do want to be honest with him too maybe if his crush fades...? is that too much to ask for? is it terrible to wish for that?

No, I don't really think so. That's a really understandable and natural feeling and I don't think you could help that even if you wanted to. It's kind that you don't want him to feel bad or guilty and I think that's what matters. It are those kind and honest feelings that are important.
I don't think you should lose hope. After all, we don't know if what you saw with Daisuke and Tsukasa was real or not and you don't know who his crush is really on so until that's cleared up, you shouldn't give up. I'll try to help you as best as I can and find out what went on with Tsukasa for you.
