[ This must be Daisuke's roommate? Ren has only seen him in passing, so it's odd to wake up to a room that isn't his. Huh. Well, he sneaks around to check everything out, a little nosy and meddlesome now that he isn't in his own body.
Whenever Naegi returns home, there's a note on the fridge.
[ very ominous... naegi has been out to do a quick run to the grocery store to buy a few ingredients for dinner (pasta sauce was on sale so he grabbed as many jars as he could!!) so when he returns home, he heads straight to the kitchen. it doesn't take him long to see the note on the fridge and after setting the bags of sauce on the floor, he takes the sheet off the fridge. he looks at it and then flips it to see if there's anything written on the back. ]
[ Ren has been mostly out for the most part, not wanting to be pinned for the note on the fridge, so there's no answer. Just silence... But speaking of the devil, he enters the space and—thinkg of something scary. Think of something scary. He goes pale as he projects a scary event onto this note. ]
... No, I didn't write it. [ Get it away from him. ] It wasn't there when I left.
[ maybe if this happened last year when naegi was still relatively new to retrospec and all the wacky things that happen in the city, he might have panicked a bit more but right now, nearly a whole year later, he's... kind of used to it now. he's alarmed, yes, but he's not panicking like he might have way back when. ]
... can you check your room for me and see if anything's missing?
[ did a burglar come in here and leave them a note or is this just a prankster?? regardless, he trusts daisuke so if daisuke didn't write it, someone had to come into their apartment without their permission ]
[ Ren darts to Naegi's room, lingers around and pretends he's actually scoping the place, but. Hm. He wonders if maybe he should pocket something to make it seem like they did get robbed.
... Isn't it spooky if nothing's different about their apartment? He returns with a confused look on his face. ]
