On this auspicious day of many eights, Chiyo is unsuspecting that things may be afoot or that any out of body experiences may occur. For all she knows, the only thing that's about to happen is a nice date with her boyfriend.
She's at the mall, waiting at the front at the time she and Daisuke agreed to meet. Will it be Daisuke who'll meet her? Will Daisuke even show up? Will anyone show up on time? Will Chiyo have to send text messages, wondering if she got stood up on this day? ]

[ bodyswap plots always seemed a lot more fun when you watched them on tv and you weren't actually part of it. after probably being coached by daisuke for a couple of hours, naegi begins walking to the spot that daisuke was originally supposed to meet with chiyo. naegi finds his stomach doing backflips that would put some olympic gymnasts to shame and as he spots out chiyo, he starts chanting to himself to keep cool keep cool give a cool greeting ]
[ He nailed it so hard that Chiyo tilts her head to the side. When she likes someone, her field of vision becomes narrow enough that people begin question her common sense. Something is off. She can tell, but she can't quite put her finger on it.
She smiles brightly all the same, waving. ]
Hi, Daisuke! Are you ready?
[ It's a chance for "Daisuke" to say he's not feeling well, and Chiyo would accept it, albeit regretfully. ]
[ "daisuke" has promised the real daisuke that he will do his best on this date not to ruin whatever little reputation that the real one has so it's okay. he'll go through with the date. he'll do his best!! ]

[ ... though yeah, "daisuke" doesn't sound so good. he looks real nervous in fact ]
[ it's that reputation exactly. it's very difficult to maintain, chiyo. please do not judge how hard daisuke probably does not work to stay average ]
[ also oh no... she's giving him The Look. he suddenly feels guilty so he takes a breath. c'mon, naegi, pull yourself together!! you gotta do this for daisuke and nail it!!! ]

[ She trusts Daisuke not to lie to her, so she nods and smiles brightly, a small blush on her cheeks. ]
Okay, let's go! If it gets boring for you, tell me, okay? I know clothes shopping isn't exciting for everyone.
[ But she wants to know her boyfriend's tastes? Not that she'd change her style just to make him happy, but if something within her usual style makes Daisuke think she's extra cute, that would be a plus. It would be a lot of pluses.
