[ no-face here is going to walk towards the crane handle that will supposedly drop one of the two boys into the pool of piranhas, if not, getting smashed up by spiky metal smashers first.

[ As promised, the ribbon cuts at the top, dropping Daisuke. However, the cut ribbon makes leeway for loosening the entire cocoon with Daisuke's quick thinking with his hands and he ends up untying the ribbon completely.
After he falls to a certain point, he quickly grabs onto the ledge of the pit and pulls himself off with no time to waste.
No-face has obviously seen this, so it cuts Naegi's ribbon too, dropping him. However, Daisuke runs forward and dives across the pit, grabbing Naegi in the process. It's a wonder how they didn't fall in when they met midair. Well, Naegi is still in a cocoon for now. With that, no-face disappears.
Daisuke's heart is pounding. He can't believe that worked, but it definitely worked. ]
[ this is... far too much for naegi's poor heart. in between watching daisuke fall, do some phantom thief nonsense, and then falling himself... it's a little too much and he closed his eyes right when his ribbon was cut so he doesn't realize that he's completely safe until he doesn't feel like he's submerged underwater with a bunch of piranhas munching on him and when he opens his eyes ]

[ Daisuke is trying to catch his breath too and trying to get his heart to calm the fuck down after all that. When Naegi breaks the silence, he feels all the tension fade from his shoulders. ]
I'm just glad it worked...
[ However, it doesn't take long for no-face to reappear behind Daisuke without a sound in a position where only Naegi can see him. Daisuke is relaxingly unwrapping the ribbons around Naegi now, unaware that no face came back. ]
[ Daisuke had been sitting as he unties the ribbons from Naegi, so it's too late for him to act. His reflexes won't save him so quickly after being relaxed.
Something appears next to no face. Seeing as it doesn't have arms, it just magically floats next to it. It's a long spiked pole, similar to a double pointed needle. It doesn't take long for it to shoot it through Daisuke's chest.
His eyes are open wide. That's blood covering the spiked pole as it protruded to the other side. Daisuke can plainly see it. It takes a while for it to sink in that he's been impaled and he coughs up blood.
He dies with his eyes open. ]
i demand another truth or dare thread either in nov or dec so naegi can get his Revenge
[ it takes naegi a second to register what he's seeing. it almost doesn't feel real like this is just an illusion playing tricks on him and his voice gets caught in his throat. he can't move and it's only after he yells that he finds himself shaken out of his frozen state ]

[ he reaches out and he tries to hold onto daisuke's shoulders, almost as if he could try and shake him awake, but his stomach drops. he knows immediately after touching daisuke that he's dead and this is what death is like ]
"Death is not a hunter unbeknownst to its prey, one is always aware that it lies in wait."
[ It raises another spiked pole and it stabs through Naegi's chest too, just like it did with Daisuke. No face's mask looks menacingly down on them both where its mouth on the mask curves into a sneer. Naegi and Daisuke's blood dye the ribbon red. And just like how it is tangled with them, so are their fates in death.
It's time to wake up, Naegi. ]
