[ this is like......... how a james bond villain tries to kill the hero. it's literally just that and honestly, if naegi wasn't the one strapped above the tank, he would have laughed at how cheesy this was. but no, he's hung upside down here and he's not laughing. he's having a heart attack. ]

[ Daisuke is hanging upside down too, but a bit far from Naegi. He is also wrapped in the same manner, dangling from the ceiling. ]

I'm fine... Let's try not to move too much or we might fall in.

[ Daisuke isn't an escape artist (yet), but he tries to think of ways to escape. While he's doing that, a person, covered in an all black cloth with a mask (similar to no face) walks near the pit and looks up at them both.

It speaks with a voice similar to this: ]

"Choose amongst yourself as to who will fall in or both will fall."

[ His golden eyes shine dangerously like a predator about to kill its prey, and his glare is directed right at Naegi. There aren't any lasers or anything yet, as though the choking will be enough. ]

I don't think our "old" personalities from our other lives carry on over. The post only said that physical changes will happen and I mean, lots of people are remembering being completely different in their other lives and they're still themselves. Their past doesn't have to define who they are now.

... though we are getting a bunch of our old belongings so if you were a princess, I guess you might get back a lot of money.

It's definitely easier when you have others to relate to so you shouldn't hesitate to talk to people if you're concerned or worried about this stuff.

Yeah. When you give a dog a job or it has a goal in mind, they can be really determined to get it done. Plus, they're always filled with energy and I don't think I've ever seen you not energetic.

That'd a be a really cruel prank! I think I'd cry if my teacher did something like that with me. I'd have such mixed emotions.

[ like is she having no problems breathing? it doesn't seem like it but he should ask. also his foot is getting really itchy?? is it rude to take off his shoes in front of someone?? maybe his socks are not on properly (also wet socks are the worst but does it matter when you're completely underwater? these are the real questions) so he will actually start to untie one of his shoes right now ]

I have a bunch of different art supplies in my bag. Do you want any of them? I don't really know how to use them so I can give them to you if that'll help.

[ they're mostly just paints but there are at least sketchbooks and nice pencils for richie to use (naegi will later remember how much these supplies cost and will be exasperated at his memloss self not realizing how expensive the things in his bag were. he is okay with lending them to friends but imagine if he lost them without realizing their price...) ]

[ naegi decides to yell from his room so daisuke could possibly hear rather than text him back since it's just faster this way. he gets out of bed and quickly walks over to the front door, unlocking it and opening it up. he hasn't really cleaned up so he's still in his pjs (aka old shirt with paint stains and shorts) and has messy hair but who cares who cares it's all goooood ]
