It's definitely easier when you have others to relate to so you shouldn't hesitate to talk to people if you're concerned or worried about this stuff.

That includes me too. I'm here if you ever need to talk about anything, Kaede. That includes school as well!

I've been fine. I'm a little stressed, but that's natural around this time. All of this might make it a little hard to concentrate on studying though.

That it was dark, mostly. So we have no way of knowing more unless we could figure out a way to give him a light that wouldn't trigger the failsafes.

Failsafes? Do you mean you think the mailbox wouldn't take items that weren't originally from it in the first place?

It's not just thinking - I tested it. Anything that wasn't from it originally sets off a "prank" on whoever did it, and the thing is spit back out.

Additionally, you can only retrieve or deposit your own items.

That makes it pretty difficult then. If we want to retry the experiment by sending Wiz back into the mailbox, that means we'll have to wait until Daisuke gets something like a flashlight in the mailbox. Or until one of us gets something equally useful.

Our luck of getting something specific like that would be pretty low.

Exactly. Though we could ask Byakuya for the use of his night-vision goggles, I don't know how putting two items in at the same time would work.

Yeah, I don't know if I want to really risk it with Wiz. He's a living creature, after all.

What if we just test it with two non-living items belonging to two different owners? Then the only thing we have to really risk is destroying or damaging the items.

No, I haven't gotten anything. I don't know if that's a good thing or not since we don't have a say in what Retrospec gives us, right? I'd be a little afraid to receive a gift from them...

I think you'd either get something very normal or very dire.

Honestly, I'd rather receive nothing if there's an equal amount of chance of getting something dire as getting something normal, especially knowing my luck with these things.

Like what if I get something illegal? Do I just give it to the police or do I keep it?

I believe there are cops on the network. You could always ask them about it...but, it appears it is an option to simply "store" it in the mailbox now, if need be.
