To prepare for his acceptance to Hope Peak Private Academy, Makoto goes online (onto 2ch) to read a thread on the school. Hope's Peak is a school that only accepts students who are the absolute top of their respective fields, leaping far beyond the average. They are then titled as a "Super High School Level" student. Some examples of these students are Super High School Level Idol (the leader of a nationally adored idol group), Super High School Level Baseball Player (ace of Japan's champion high school baseball team), and Super High School Gang Leader (head of Japan's largest motorcycle gang).
