they're just the ones who really want me to go to a university
so it's more for them than me anyway
i'd be fine at a community college or whatever

i mean, i was joking about the model thing but it wouldn't be terrible
and i like acting a lot
but that's a high-risk career

Yeah, acting is a pretty hard career to get into but you don't have to be just an actress? You could also be a drama teacher or work in theatre production.

I mean, I'm an artist so I know all about high risk careers...

if i go into acting i'd want to actually ACT
if i can't be on stage it's not worth it

also i'm pretty sure you shouldn't be looking down on people without college degrees if that's the case

Well, if you don't mind doing theatre or playing minor characters, you could probably hold a job like that? Until you make it big.

like i said, that's what i'd want to do in the first place
i don't think film would be half as exciting

like you're already saying that community college is worse than university

Then I think going into acting isn't a bad idea at all. There are a lot of theatre performances and you have more opportunities than film.

That's not what I'm saying at all! I think community college is a great idea and if you want to go for it, then you should. All I'm saying is that a post-secondary education, in general, is good to have and that you still need to study. If you want to go to college instead, you should definitely talk to your parents.
